Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA)
Under California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) law, Siskiyou County is the designated Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) responsible for managing groundwater in the Shasta Valley and Scott Valley. Consortium members Tribes participate in stakeholder advisory groups and have submitted comments on the Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs). Additional information will be added here later.
